London Road
The office and chapel of rest at London Road opened in 2008.
The premises is located on College Place, London Road opposite the Crown Courts of Southampton. A private forecourt is provided for parking and full disabled access is available.
On the 1st October 2009 the office and chapel of rest was officially opened by The Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Mrs. Elizabeth Mizon. The dedication service and blessing of the chapel of rest was led by the Rt. Revd Dr. Richard Palmer, Mrs. Margaret Hoadley – Reader of St Edwards Church Netley Abbey, Fr. PJ Smith – Parish Priest, Mrs. Vipula B. Potat – representing the Hindu community and Mr. Bharpoor Singh – representing the Sikh community.
The chapel of rest is open for you, your family and friends to visit loved ones at any time during our office hours of Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. With regard to evening or weekend visits there is no restriction but we do ask if you would kindly telephone at all times before your visit to arrange an appointment.
We have been privileged and proud to offer our services under the direction of Mr. Matthew Haines MBIE to all areas of Southampton from our London Road Office including Bassett, Highfield, Shirley, Chilworth, St. Denys, Millbrook, Lordshill and Lordswood.
