Jonathan Terry established his business because of a genuine desire to give your family the personal and compassionate service needed in these difficult times. Through the dedicated service and experience of the last thirty years, we hope you’ll feel at home with our services.

We are not driven by power or a desire to become the largest funeral directors. We are inspired to succeed in providing professional and personal funeral services by maintaining our focus on family care and support.

Jonathan Terry has been dedicated to the funeral profession all of his life and within his family history his maternal Grandfather’s family were wheelwrights and coffin makers in Liverpool. Family are important and he is assisted within the business by his parents Thomas and Sylvia Terry and his sister, Tina Wyatt.

Since 1998 Jonathan Terry Independent Funeral Directors has served Southampton and its surrounding areas. The business has grown because of its reputation for excellent service and also our ability to change with the times in offering new services to our community, our Christmas Remembrance service, our new website which includes our obituaries page where donations to charities can be made online, our Coffee mornings and new classic car fleet.

We will always be pleased to take the necessary steps to maintain and protect our role as a truly independent funeral business.
